Genshin Impact 4.7 Special Program Update
Genshin Impact has officially confirmed the release date and time for the upcoming 4.7 Special Program. HoYoverse always hosts a livestream event approximately 10 days before an update arrives, revealing most of the upcoming content like new regions, quest lines, and characters.
Genshin Impact’s social media accounts have already confirmed the arrival of two new five-star characters, Clorinde and Sigewinne. While there is still no official information about their exact release date, Travelers can expect the two to appear on separate banner cycles, with rumors claiming that Clorinde will be part of the first banner while Sigewinne should appear on the second banner.
A new post on Genshin Impact’s official Twitter account has revealed more details about the upcoming Version 4.7 livestream event. According to the announcement, the Special Program for update 4.7 will be held on May 24 at 08:00 AM (UTC-4). While HoYoverse is yet to confirm the update’s exact release date, going by the usual update schedule, players can expect Genshin Impact Version 4.7 to drop around June 5. The art in the official announcement features two characters, Sigewinne and Clorinde. However, they won’t be the only new roster additions in this update, as HoYoverse also confirmed the release of a new four-star character, Sumeru’s Electro user Sethos.
Genshin Impact Special Program 4.7 Release Date and Time
When it comes to their playstyle, recent Genshin Impact beta leaks have revealed that Clorinde will be a new main DPS with a playstyle similar to Keqing. Two of her greatest strengths are her ability to fit almost any team composition in Genshin Impact and the fact that players won’t need to invest too many resources in her build since she’s very free-to-play friendly. To get her DPS potential to the next level, Travelers should try to get her signature sword, Absolution, which will be featured on the upcoming Weapon Banner.
Sigewinne will be a powerful offensive support in Genshin Impact who can deal tons of damage even when she leaves the field, thanks to her Elemental Skill which allows her to create a Hydro bubble that bounces around the field and deals AoE damage. Sigewinne’s Elemental Burst will equip her with a large syringe which she can use as a machine gun, also dealing AoE Hydro damage.
Leaks have suggested that Sethos’ two best roles in Genshin Impact are main DPS and Electro Battery. This means that he could have decent synergy with Clorinde, indicating that they could appear on the same Limited Character Banner. These leaks should still be taken with a grain of salt since HoYoverse could still make some changes to their new characters in the upcoming weeks.
