Fortnite Festival : Rock Band 4 Adds Full Guitar Controller Support With Season 3 Update
Fortnite Festival Season 3 Update
Yesterday, it was announced that Billie Eilish would headline Season 3 of Fortnite Festival, the free-to-play music mode that has been gaining popularity. With the update now live, there are some exciting new additions. One of the most notable is the support for guitar controllers in Rock Band 4, courtesy of Harmonix. This means that old Rock Band instruments can now be used to play in the game.
New Features and Inclusions
Epic Games, the company that acquired Harmonix in 2021, released a detailed list of additions and inclusions in a blog post. One of the key points mentioned was the ability to use Rock Band 4 guitar controllers to play new Pro Lead and Pro Bass song parts on the Main Stage. A chart was provided to easily check if your specific guitar controller is supported. Epic Games also hinted at more instrument controller news to come in the future.
If you have old Rock Band gear gathering dust somewhere in your home, now is the time to bring it out and give it a try in Fortnite Festival. Will you be testing out your old instruments? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
