League of Legends: Patch 14.14 Overview

Riot Games is gearing up to introduce patch 14.14 to League of Legends, along with a new Summer Event. This upcoming patch will include a two-part skin release for the Anima Squad, as well as the addition of the Swarm game mode. In addition to these cosmetic updates, there will be various changes to champions and game systems.

Release Date and Server Maintenance

League of Legends Patch 14.14 is scheduled to go live on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. The release times for different servers are as follows:

• NA: 3:00 AM PT
• EUW: 5:00 UK time
• EUNE: 3:00 CET

Aurora – The Witch Between Worlds

Riot will be introducing Aurora, the 168th champion in Patch 14.14. Aurora is designed as a mage for solo lanes, offering high mobility and damage potential. She features two forms, Normal Mode and Spirit Mode, each enhancing her abilities in unique ways.

Champion Adjustments in Patch 14.14

Several champions are receiving buffs, nerfs, or adjustments in Patch 14.14 to balance gameplay and enhance the overall experience for players. Below are some notable changes:

• Hecarim: Health buff and improved abilities
• Lillia: Nerfs to passive and E abilities
• Rumble: Decreased damage on Flamespitter ability

New Game Mode – Swarm

A new Bullet Heaven game mode called Swarm will be introduced in Patch 14.14. This mode allows players to select from nine different characters to combat the Primordians. Initial feedback from players testing Swarm on PBE has been highly positive, indicating an enjoyable experience.
