Their latest offering, Song of Nunu, is a 3rd-person adventure game aimed at a younger audience. The game follows the journey of Nunu, a young boy searching for his mother and the remnants of his lost people. Accompanied by the powerful yeti, Willump, they must navigate the dangerous frozen lands of the Freljord and confront the villainous Lissandra.
In Song of Nunu, players control Nunu, using his magical flute, the Svelsongur, to manipulate the environment and overcome obstacles. Meanwhile, Willump fights off enemies and helps Nunu navigate treacherous terrain. The game primarily focuses on solving puzzles using the flute’s musical notes, with some challenging moments that may require a bit of trial and error. However, Nunu often provides helpful hints to assist players in finding the solutions. Willump’s role is mainly to assist Nunu in reaching higher areas and destroying obstacles.
While the game is visually appealing and colorful, it doesn’t quite reach the same level of detail and polish as other similar games.
