Warcraft Rumble : Lancement en douceur aujourd’hui, avec de nombreuses informations sur la bêta fermée.

Warcraft Rumble, previously known as Warcraft Arclight Rumble, is finally soft launching today. After being announced over a year ago, the game will first be available in the Philippines as a technical test and will then roll out to other territories. It marks the first time that audiences outside of Blizzard will be able to experience Warcraft Rumble on iOS devices.

In an interview with GameSpot, Warcraft Rumble director Tom Chilton and executive producer Vik Saraf discussed the feedback they received from the Android-only closed beta and how it has helped shape the game. One of the key areas they focused on was the game’s Quests, which initially became repetitive for players. To address this, they introduced a feature called Arclight Surge, which adds new mechanics and modifiers to the game. They also implemented rotating modifiers and maps for PvP seasons to keep the gameplay fresh.

Chilton also highlighted the challenge of balancing the “onboarding experience” for players, as it can be difficult to predict how quickly they will understand and adapt to the game. To address this, they reflowed the campaign to gradually increase complexity and difficulty so that players can progress smoothly. They also introduced a Heroic version of the campaign, drawing inspiration from Heroic dungeons in World of Warcraft. The Heroic campaign features new mechanics and challenges to further enhance players’ experience.

Another area that received attention during the closed beta was the game’s collection elements. The team introduced different rarities for leaders and units, as well as additional talents for players to unlock. They also devised a unique system for acquiring miniatures, resembling the excitement of opening card booster packs without the randomness of loot boxes. Players are presented with a grid of options to choose from, and the items listed can be reset daily or through other means.

Looking ahead, the team has a roadmap of updates planned for Warcraft Rumble. They will continue to gather feedback during the soft launch period to further polish the game. Saraf emphasized the importance of player feedback and expressed gratitude to those who participated in the beta. Future updates will introduce new miniatures, leaders, maps, and more.

To be among the first to play Warcraft Rumble when it becomes available in their region, players can pre-register on the game’s official website.
